Holly Crawford, Ph.D., Director, Editor of AC Institute, is an art historian, artist and poet who is a native of California, and now lives in New York. Her Ph.D. in Art History is from the University of Essex. BA, MA, MS are from UCLA. Her book, Attached to the Mouse, Disney and Contemporary Art, UPA-imprint of Roman & Littlefield. Her many art projects cross boundaries of various media and deal with issues of relationships, collaboration and connection.

Carrie Paterson is an artist and writer based in Los Angeles. She has published criticism, fiction, art reviews and catalog essays in a variety of art and culture publications. Her sculpture, new media and performance works have been seen in museums, universities, non-profit galleries and online spaces. Currently she teaches at Cal State Fullerton in the art department's graduate studies program and is pioneering a course on the graphic novel for undergraduates.


Seph Rodney is a current Ph.D. student at the University of London, Birkbeck College, in the London Consortium program. He hails from a varied disciplinary background which includes poetry, photography, performance and fencing. He was born in Jamaica, came of age in New York and lived in Los Angeles and understandably has tired feet. The question he most likes to ask is "If art isn't transformative, then what's the point?"

2005-2006: Lillian Fellmann, Associate editor, Co-Editor of AC:Collaborative and AC:Hospitality Suite for Summer 2005-Spring 2006, as part of her Fulbright Fellowship. She is a critic and curator. She worked from 1997 till 2003 as an art journalist for the Neue Zurcher Zeitung and other newspapers in Switzerland; she regularly contributes to publications in Switzerland and the US. Fellmann holds a MA in Linguistics, Philosophy, and Film from the University of Zurich and a MA Critical and Curatorial Studies from UCLA.
